The Group spends on average £1000 per month, which is needed to cover the cost of feeding and caring for the livestock, and the general operation and maintenance of the facilities. This sum does not include the periodic replacement and upgrading of equipment needed to operate the Centre successfully and safely, e.g., helmets, gloves, riding tack, etc. Generally the Committee seeks specific donations towards the cost of such items as an ongoing necessity.
It is important to recognise that 100% of funds raised are devoted to providing a service to the disabled people of the area.

The Management Committee
The Group consists of about 70 members, and is organised by a Management Committee, elected annually.
Some of the current Committee members were founder members, and have been involved in fund raising and management over that period; other Committee members have been in post for many years, but a regular injection of new members bring a wealth of business and industrial experience.
